New vacancy: Personal Assistant to Founder & CEO The Ocean Cleanup, Rotterdam

The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization that develops advanced technologies to get rid of the world’s oceans plastic. The team consists of more than 90 engineers, researchers, scientists and computational modelers working daily to reach their goal.
To support the Founder/CEO Boyan Slat we are looking for an exceptionally bright and well-organized Personal Assistant.

The Job:
In this very demanding position you are responsible for providing high quality personal assistant support and related tasks. You will anticipate on needs and provide tailor-made, administrative support. Within this position you are managing and maintaining diaries, preparing itineraries and arranging visas etc. You are filtering telephone calls and all other forms of correspondence. You are planning and scheduling meetings and teleconferences across different time zones and accompany or standing in for the CEO in meetings, travels and other (external) events when needed. You provide admin and scheduling support to the Supervisory Board and for Supervisory Board meetings.
Furthermore, you support various projects in which you have active participation and act as a sounding board on strategic and leadership matters. You will act as an extended brain (business partner) for the CEO with 24/7 availability and a remote assistant in all time zones.

Candidate:
The ideal candidate thrives on a constantly changing (international) environment and has a service orientated character along with a strong can do mentality. Prioritizing and planning are second nature. You demonstrate a high level of ethics, commitment, professionalism and confidentiality. You have a refined eye for quality and detail and are stress resilient. As a pleasant team player you are able to work very independently and take initiative.
Of course you are an exceptional organizational talent and a high performer that consistently exceeds expectations.

Criteria:
Academic background.
Experience as an personal/executive assistant.
Strong MS Office skills.
(Near) native English, Dutch is a plus, not a must.
Permanent position (fulltime+).
