New vacancy: (HR) Executive Assistant, European office, Amsterdam

Our client is an international company and based nearby the Zuidas. The company can be described as dynamic and they have the ambition to further expand their activities in their industry. We are currently looking for an experienced, pro-active Executive Assistant to support the HR Director.

FUNCTION

As an Executive Assistant you are responsible for all secretarial, administrative and organizational support to the HR Director. You will take care of calendar management and meeting scheduling (face2face, videoconference, conference calls). This can be both internally as well as with external candidates. Besides that you are capable of handling special projects (relocation office including all kinds of facility contracting, expat matters, etc.), coordinate all high volume travels (air, hotel and other reservations), prioritize mail and manage appropriate correspondence in a timely manner. You act as first contact person, ensure phone messages and communications are accurate and prioritized and proactively manage urgent issues.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a professional, experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys working in the broad field of HR. You are accurate, discrete and highly service minded. You keep overview at all times and planning is second nature. You are eager to learn, authentic, confident in abilities and sensitive to others. You are a self-starter who takes initiatives and you can easily adapt into new situations. You are result- and commercial driven and you do not take no for an answer quickly. You are able to set up procedures and you feel at home in an international, hard-working environment. A representative, flexible candidate with a good sense of humour and a team player with strong communication and organisational skills.

CRITERIA

Relevant (secretarial) education. At least 5 years of executive assistance experience, preferably in the HR field. Experience in an international, corporate environment. Expert in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience in Sharepoint is a great plus. English fluent (native level); good understanding of Dutch. Full time (40 hrs. per week) available is a must. Travelling by public transport or by car (parking space is available).
