Our client, an Offshore Business Division, recently expanded its global footprint by establishing new Global Business Centers in North America and Europe with the intention of becoming a project-centric and client-driven business organization. The company is planning for the establishment and development of a new large office in the Netherlands. We are looking for an all-round Office Manager. 

Function

As a highly experienced Office Manager you support office development project, supervise daily support operations of the company and plan the most efficient administrative procedures.
You provide administrative support to executives and management as needed with scheduling meetings, preparing reports and handling correspondence. You arrange travel itineraries and accommodations for employees and executives, and manage travel expenses and reimbursements. Furthermore you maintain accurate records, including personnel files, financial records and office expenditures.
 
Special projects:
You will oversee the daily activities related to planning and execution of the design and construction of the office. You coordinate with the asset manager, contractors, architects and vendors to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.

Ideal Candidate

You have a proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role within an international company. You like to sit in the drivers seat and are excited to help building this brand new Dutch Office. You have strong organizational and multitasking abilities and knowledge of office procedures, document management and basic accounting principles. You are a professional, friendly and no nonsense personality who is able to work independently. Your social and communication skills are excellent.

Job criteria

  • HBO level.
  • 5-10 years proven (international) experience.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office.
  • Strong English skills are required. Dutch is a plus.
  • 36-40 hours per week.
  • Parking space available.
