Executive Assistant AkzoNobel (32 – 40 hours pw), Amsterdam Zuidas



AkzoNobel is a multinational and active in over 80 countries. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam. We are looking for an experienced, executive assistant to support the Global Group Control leadership team.


In this very demanding support position you are responsible for providing high quality assistant support and related tasks to the Group Control leadership team, with your own responsibilities to the Head of Consolidation & Technical Accounting.
You are managing/maintaining diaries, organizing travel schedules and preparing itineraries, arranging visas etc and responsible for all correspondence. You are organizing conference calls, meetings/events and all logistics involved (hotel, transport). You will be requested to prepare draft presentations (PowerPoint) and support various projects in which you have an active participation. You set up and monitor yearly deliverables timetable re-Period and Full Year Reports and timely scheduled meetings with stakeholders Executive Committee and Audit Committee. You are responsible for the internal communication (website, organizing online trainings) and are the first contact person for internal employees and external parties.
Furthermore you will take care of expense administration and monitoring spend of direct reports of the manager as well as the creation and follow up of Purchase Order numbers.
Within the team, the executive assistants help each other when workload so requires.

De functiecriteria

• HBO level.
• Broad experience in international management support.
• Strong MS office skills, outstanding Excel skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Permanent position (32 - 40 hrs).
