Our client is a leading, successful and international organization, their European HQ is based nearby Amsterdam. Their main focus is within the b2b market and they are well known for their quality products & services sold by a selection of local brands. We are looking for an Office Manager to support the staff by ensuring an efficient & smooth operation of the office space. 

Function

Within this broad scope of responsibilities, outstanding office support on site is the main target. You are the first point of contact for smaller tasks such as supplies, invoices & shipping but also for on- and offboarding of employees. Furthermore you arrange corporate events and connect with several stakeholders. You are the single and first point of contact with the building manager. To a lesser extend you will book travels for the management team. You make sure all IT and daily catering solutions are scheduled. Your fellow colleagues are known to be passionate & professional about their job, working life and it is your job to make a great contribution. The Office Manager will report to the Group SVP HRM.

Ideal Candidate

The pragmatic and optimistic office manager will be pro-active, flexible and able to juggle multiple responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times. You are great in your day-to-day work, but identify opportunities to make the overall team more organised and efficient. You have the ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. You naturally have an outstanding feel for hospitality and service.
You love to be the central point of the office because of your overseeing eye and approachable attitude. You are composed and have a warm personality. This candidate is known for being the be ‘the go getter’ and makes it happen within all office-related operations.
 

Job criteria

  • Bachelor level.
  • At least 5 years relevant international experience.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch as well.
  • Parttime available 24 – 32 hours per week (Monday – Thursday mornings in the office are a must).
  • Parking space available.
